Delta Project Data
The Delta Project has organized data on operating spending and revenues into aggregate measures of costs per student and costs per degree/certificate produced, organized into Carnegie classifications separating public and private nonprofit institutions.
Data Download
The Delta Cost Project IPEDS database is available for download at no cost. The database includes IPEDS data for more than 6,000 institutions from 1987-2006, and contains 475 variables on institutional characteristics, finances, enrollment, completions, tuition and fees, staffing, and student financial aid. Analysis of this data requires a statistical programming package such as SAS, SPSS, or STATA. (Note: These are large data files and make take time to download).
